Gîte Chalet l'Oustal

The property

Our property is located in the heart of Corbières, in the Cathar Country, at the foot of the fortress of Termes, at the entrance to the vertiginous cliffs of the Gorges de Termenet, in the wilderness, surrounded by beautiful holm oak forests and scrubland. and Mediterranean meadows.

This is where we chose to settle, to renovate our old sheepfold and two gîtes, in the heart of nature, far from all pollution and mass tourism. Since then, we have raised a herd of ponies and a few donkeys and horses on a property of almost 100 ha in the surrounding Mediterranean mountains.

The L'Oustal lodge

The cottage is located on a hill inside the property, on the edge of a large holm oak forest, on the land of an old vineyard, in absolute calm, far from the road and other homes. It has a private enclosed garden with a terrace with views of the surrounding mountains. The nearest houses (our house and the second gîte, La Petite Bergerie) are 80 and 100 m away without any direct view.

The whole is located on a fenced plot of 5 hectares of oak woods and Mediterranean heaths and scrubland, where your children will be able to play peacefully and in complete safety.

Living room/dining room/kitchen area - 12 m², table and chairs for 4 people, dresser, 3-seater sofa, armchairs, TV, mobile air conditioning.

Mezzanine with an attic children's bedroom of 6 m2, two single beds 80 x 190 cm (which can be transformed into double beds 160 x 190 cm). Room reserved for children with low ceilings and accessible by ladder.

Garden

Terraces with garden table, chairs, barbecue, deck chairs, hammock, surrounded by a large wild green space of several hectares with shaded benches, table tennis.
